About the Director

Alexander Jovy has a 100% track record and is the most sort after film director of his generation, he has a background in Law and through his strong leadership and creativity has fronted a number of successful film projects.

Jovy has directed over 40 Television Commercials as well as award winning short and feature films. He was nominated for an Academy Award for his very first film called “Holiday Romance”. His latest feature film called “Sorted” had a world wide success and opened in the UK on 250 screens.

Itsourmovie is a completely new idea in film. You get the chance to star in a cinema release feature film. The film is of an award winning script, and will be shot by the Academy Award nominated director Alex Jovy.

All acting parts will be available through this website. Registration is free, and you can register for a part in the film simply by uploading your audition videoclip (in the same way you would through video sharing sites such as Youtube or Metacafe`).

All you have to do is download the script, choose a character you want to Audition for and then video your audition and upload it to this website for free.

You can submit auditions for as many roles as you want and you can Vote as many times as you want for your favourite Auditions. Voting is via mobile phone, Text the name FILM and the number of your favourite audition to 88600.

Its that simple!

Shooting is scheduled to begin in December 2008. If you don't have a camera, or just feel like taking part in a live audition - there will be auditions held in London, where you will be recorded (see the 'audition dates' category). These audition clips will also be uploaded to the site in the same way. Auditions either in person, or submission via the web will always be free.
